Developmental Editing
Developmental editing focuses on the content of your story. This includes pacing, consistency in character traits, and other "big picture" parts of your book. Pricing is based on length and the amount of editing required, but generally starts at around $400
Beta Reading
If you have a work-in-progress and need a second opinion about how the story is progressing plus an objective eye to catch some possible developmental and copy editing issues, this is where you want to start. I generally charge around $200 for a 50,000-word manuscript.
Book Coaching
This service is priced at $100/hr to help guide you through your writing career. This might include what you need to do to take the idea you have and turn it into a book or story, or help plot the course for what to do next.
Copy Editing
Copy editing catches all the misspellings, grammatical errors, punctuation issues etc. It's what keeps readers from sending you error reports on Kindle. Pricing for this usually begins at $300, but if you know you're prone to typos and have a long manuscript, it will be substantially more than that.
Manuscript Evaluation
If you have a manuscript that you have finished and polished through feedback from beta readers or critique partners, and you want a report on plot, pacing, where it fits in the market, this is for you. These reports are $300.
